NEW SINGLE“Poison” embodies pain and beauty.Ania creates a unique sound with tasty guitar lines and expressive vocals. Deep, sultry and mysterious.
“The inspiration for this song was letting go of a toxic relationship; someone you once loved but, was really bad for you.” – Ania
Ania just released her 3rd single with a video “Poison.” Ania is an LA based, DIY guitarist and songwriter originally from Poland. She blends melodic, aggressive vocals, modern synth textures, and killer guitar solos in her music. Largely inspired by Trent Raznor of Nine Inch Nails, St Vincent, Blondie, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, L7, Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Alice in Chains, her music embodies the 21st-century rock movement. Check out her previously released two songs “Runaway” and “Doors Close,” which are apart of her upcoming EP called Ania in Chains.
Hi Ania, welcome to VQS! Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration for this song?
The inspiration for this song was letting go of a toxic relationship; someone you once loved but, was really bad for you (who was destroying your life and peace)
“Each and everyone of us can change and improve the overall world.” – Ania
What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
I want the audience to realize that sometimes we’re all too consumed into our own world, especially with social media that we forget to look around us to see what is really happening. That is why I have the Trump scene in the video.. to wake us up out of whatever is going on in our personal life and realize how people can impact the world around us. Each and everyone of us can change and improve the overall world.

What is your favorite part of the song?
My favorite part of the song is the chorus. The lyric “and you keep breaking my shit.” I believe its sang in a funny sarcastic fashion and it reminds me a bit of 90s Alice in Chains and Nirvana lyrics.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases? Upcoming events?
Future release of 1 more song Tuesdays which will finish up Ania in Chains EP. Hopefully future live stream shows and a tour after all the covid stuff goes away.
“Poison taps into the LA skater-esque soundscapes. Ania’s shows remnants of Sheryl Crow meets Garbage meets Joan Osborne. Her vocals come in sultry and mysterious gaining energy as the song moves deeper. She is a sound guitar player and vocalist. This song is a good display of her genre and it’s exciting to see how her next songs will complement her distinctive sound.” – Lee Lontoc VQS –Hollywood Vocal Coach
